We frequent the Abercorn/Apache Ave location. LOVE their enchiladas, quesidellas, their chips and salsa/queso!!! That's all I ever order but if the rest of their menu tastes as amazing as these items, then don't miss out on this place! Staff is always friendly and prices are GREAT!!!!

The Atmosphere is always pleasant, waitresses and waiters are always nice and the food is consistently good. I’ve eaten here 50+ times and I rarely have a bad experience.
Service was fast, very nice, food was good, price was amazing, my taco shell was a little on the stale side, but I still ate it! Great lunch door for my favorite... Speedy Gonzales! Update.. we just ate here again, still good, great service, I had the special of the day, combo #9 our waitress was super nice.
Both the service and atmosphere were great! The food tasted amazing BUT… I guess what I got didn’t sit right on my stomach. 4 stars because I now have food poisoning. At least it was good.
El Potro is located across from Dillard’s Department store (Dillards is located in the Savannah Mall-In case you don’t know, Dillard’s is a department store where you can find the best brands and is a one stop shop. That means it has Cosmetics, fragrance, men, Junior, kids women, shoes, lingerie department, accessories and more). After Dillard’s I went to El Potro Mexican Restaurant! I was so hungry! This restaurant is small but it has charm. The customer service is great and the food is so delicious (See photos). I always try to find authentic food. In El Potro the food tasted really good! So, if you are in that side of town and you want to enjoy good food and a good service visit El Potro Mexican Restaurant in Savannah. In addition, I know they have a Buffet, but I haven’t been there during the buffet hours. However I heard is really good. Anyways, so far I like the chicken or stake quesadillas with vegetables and today they brought me this hot dish! It was a mixture of grilled vegetables (green and red peppers, delicious onions, tomatoes), steak, chicken and shrimp! It was so so good!
Delicious Chimichangas, rice and beans. We'll definitely be back to try the buffet.
